ABOUT RUSSELL

Russell Underhill's career has taken him around the world directing commercials for a diverse range of clients such as Danone, Unilever, Coca Cola, Telstra Australia, Pacific Paints, Minolta, Dettol, African Bank, Access Bank, Heineken Beer and many more.

He has been directing commercials in South Africa, and internationally for more than fifteen years and has earned several international awards along the way including One Show Silver, Cannes Shortlist, London Gold Medal (short film) and as well as several local, South African awards.

In recent years Russell started Propeller Films and has watched the company go from strength to strength with the help of a talented band of directors and producers.

Since then Russell has divided his time between overseeing Propeller Films, as well as pursuing his own, independent 
directing work.
